A Bemurkled Sapphire Nuzlocke

Comic Image

Drawing is slow. I'm sure that's common knowledge, but the last several pages have really made me feel it. The conversation between Zizzy and Mr. Stone isn't long at all to read, but it felt like forever to draw. I may be trying something new for the art on the next page, to keep the drawing of it exciting for me.

Fun fact: I have so far written more backstory and character notes for Mr. Stone than for any other character in my comic.

If you're wondering about the two paintings in Mr. Stone's office, the one on the left is based on Napoleon Crossing the Alps, by Jacques-Louis David, while the one on the right is based on Lady with a Lap Dog, by Federico de Madrazo y Kuntz.

Oh, and the reason the last couple panels look a little different than the ones above them is that they were originally the ending of the previous page, before I inserted, well, this whole page.
