Something about this whole business with the letter seems a little bit... fishy.
In real life, at least where I live, I don't think a girl Zizzy's age would go up to a stranger and ask him how his fishing were going. But I like to think the Pokémon world is more friendly and trusting. Not just a place where people are willing to let their eleven-year-old children go off adventuring unsupervised, but where it is reasonably safe to do so.
And: new colouring style. I'm feeling pretty good about it; not that it's perfect by any means, but that it suits the story and that it's the sort of direction I want to go.
