So, when you fight the Winstrates, it's four short trainer battles back to back. It happened that I had Cloud in the first position, so he kept on being sent out into battle, even after being paralyzed. Still, he was a strong enough attacker that he could generally take out the enemies... until he found himself fully parlayzed in the face of Marill's rapidly escalating rollout. I had to switch and was sure whoever came in would be a goner! But Stripes bravely took the blow, then knocked out Marill with a single headbutt before the little blue death mouse could strike again.
