I tried doing the lines on this page with the pencil tool in ProCreate. I'd say the result of the experiment is that all the lines look like I drew them with the pencil tool. Not one of my most ground-breaking artistic discoveries, I'm afraid.
In anime and manga, scenes set at hot springs are something of a cliché. Most often it's used as an opportunity to draw the characters without their clothes, and to make jokes about who is embarrassed, or who is ogling whom. I didn't want to go in that direction, but I thought it would be fun to see Zizzy's Pokémon go to the pool. A more light-hearted and comical page seemed appropriate after all the action in the previous two.
Of course, since this is a comic, technically everything that happens in it is comical by definition.
